LOUIS & MACBETH Pending light fixtures

The fact that the far-reaching reinterpretation of classic themes (now called 'Neo-Baroque) may also lead to surprisingly pure results is proven by suspended luminaire fixtures Louis and Macbeth. Not only do these devices represent a wink to the past; they also combine visual power and subtlety. Both fixtures constitute an entirely individual interpretation of Neo-Baroque.
With Louis and Macbeth, Wever and Ducré continues on the path outlined earlier with Domos and Octonom. Detail and elegance are important keywords and the concept of architectural lighting is redefined in a unique manner.
LOUIS
Louis refers to the traditional crystal chandelier suppliers, but moves several design steps beyond that as well. The strongly purified form reminds us of a closed cocoon spun around an authentic crystal chandelier. Where a chandelier used to rely on its rich materials and texture, Louis only retains the characteristic lines. In this sense, the design design is typified by architectural abstraction comparable to what Christo, the artist, does to buildings when he 'gift wraps' them.
Louis is available in a standard white version but the optional lamp coverings make it possible to illuminate the body in various colours (including blue, green, orange, etc). This allows you to create a unique mood adapted to every space and every interior.
MACBETH
Macbeth surprises us in another way. From a distance, its silhouette reminds us of a strong-lined, oversized lampshade, divested of all embellishment and fitting into a primarily pure and simple environment. When looking at the lamp up close, however, a theatrical pattern of lines, as if made of pleated textile, emerges. This reduced-scale detailing makes the Macbeth, which is nearly one metre large, suitable for both small and big spaces.
We should note the absence of a light source in the centre of the lampshade, allowing for an unobstructed view through the device. The lamps suppliers are hidden inside the double-walled lampshade. A colour filter, available in three standard colours (red, light blue and light green), allow for a coloured effect in the Macbeth.
