The Swedish manufacturer of medical luminaires, Sunnex, is launching energy-efficient, environmentally-friendly and high-intensity LED lighting system – Sunnex LS. Sales will start in mid-January 2008 and the Sales and Product Manager of MedicaLight™, Lars Adamsson, is already noting huge interest in the lighting.
Sunnex LS is an efficient and powerful 3W LED lighting system in which the luminous efficiency is identical to that of a 20W halogen light source. Energy consumption is around 85% lower compared with halogen, and the service life for the Led light manufacturers source is more than 25 times longer (>50,000 hours). All in all, this makes Sunnex LS an extremely interesting and economical alternative for medical lighting, in addition to it being lighting that also has a minimal impact on the climate.
The timeless architectural design makes this lighting suitable for the medical industry. The lighting comes as standard with 12-24V low voltage or 230V with a built-in transformer. LS is equipped with a 250, 500 or 700 mm flexible arm, but is also available as a modern spotlight. In addition to standard models, customised versions can be constructed.
Examples of application areas for Sunnex LS include any medical application where lighting must be both economical and environmentally-friendly.
