The Leander Modern cradle is suspended to allow free movement, rather than being in a fixed position on the floor. The four suspension straps are attached at a single point, either the ceiling suppliers hook included with the cradle, or to a special stand available as an optional accessory. The benefit of suspending it in this manner is that the cradle doesn't rock in one direction only, but allows soft rhythmical movements familiar to the baby from conception. It also makes it easier to start the cradle moving. Experiencing its ability to control the movement of the cradle contributes greatly to the baby developing awareness of its own body.

The Leander cradle is asthma and allergy friendly. The mattress suppliers is as standard delivered with foam, but you can also choose it filled with organic buckwheat husk, a material with excellent heat regulating properties.

During the day, the cradle can be used as a swing furniture. By swinging freely, the cradle helps stimulate the vestibular sense of the baby.
