LAMP LIGHTING OPENS A COMMERCIAL DELEGATION IN CHINA

The technical lighting company LAMP, with headquarters in Terrassa, opened a commercial delegation in China in the summer of 2008, in the region of Guandong, one of the most industrialised regions in the country. This is the decisive step after a decade-long commercial relationship with China.

The objective of this important step is to deal with the services to Asian countries such as China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Korea. This action is part of a strategy for the company to establish in the entire Asian market. Back in 2007 LAMP LIGHTING opened a commercial office in Thailand to deal with the countries in South-East Asia, such as Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Cambodia and many others. As the CEO of LAMP, Ignasi Cusidó, says, 'for us, Asia is a market with a great potential, and the industrial introduction in Asia will be justified when the market itself is able to feed this industry'.

LAMP is a Catalan family company with strong presence in the Spanish market and one of the leading companies in the technical-architectural lighting sector. LAMP exports 30% of its sales volume and the main destinations are European countries, followed by South America, the Middle East, Africa and Asia. LAMP has delegations and subsidiary companies in Mexico, Chile, France, UK and Thailand.

Innovative projects require more and more special products in order to provide solutions for the market needs, in Spain and in the rest of the world. LAMP has made industrial investments in order to offer solutions to the personalisation of products or the production starting from the initial stage or design. The company is flexible and close to its clients, and it provides innovate solutions for an increasingly dynamic and demanding market.
