Ornamentation in 24 carat gold represents opulence in the luxury bathroom

Kaldewei baths and shower trays can be provided with individual 24 carat gold ornamentation as an optional extra. Twenty-four carat gold - also known as “999 gold” - is very pure refined gold with a gold content of 99.9%. At Kaldewei, the gold ornamentation is applied onto the enamelled surface of the baths or shower trays before being permanently stoved in. It fuses with the enamel thus ensuring this precious surface does not wear or peel off. The beneficial surface properties such as durability, hygiene and ease of care are lastingly retained.
