Just an impression of a paper structure used as (acoustic) wall covering made of paper rolls and wall paper glue (‘papier-maché’). As with the paper stools – ref. press release earlier this year - the result depends on how the paper and glue dry together; this forms the decorative element. Soon new structures will be shown!

Last year at 100% Design London fair some samples/ideas were already shown. For an impression have a look for example at Annette’s website/blog or attached link. One can think also of combining different paper structures for decorative sound absorbing wall purposes.
She is mainly working on request, on ‘project base’ like an artist or architectural designer (with maybe bigger standardized productions done in the future).

Annette V. Huizing likes a living environment where art, design and architecture are considered as a whole. "Less designed it looks the better. Maybe an object should not show too clearly what it is, let people in a way decide how to use it"..
