GRID – armchairs and sofas

Looking at the actual seat and sofa-landscape I missed the combination of relaxing and working possibilities. With the “GRID” project I wanted to create a clear and neutral combination of both. The “GRID” seats can be a comfortable and relaxing nest but “GRID” can also be used as a pleasant and flexible active area. By composing one or several seats and backrests with the arms, a side-table or the cupboard, “GRID” gives an answer to several needs of today’s life. The rigid upholstered structure furniture offers different functions while the removable cushions look after the user’s comfort. “GRID” is made for the home environment as well as for the project market like hotel lobbies or public waiting areas.

The concept of “sitting” on an armchair or on a sofa doesn’t simply mean leaning on something comfortable and cosy. It means creating an interaction between body parts and the different sections of the upholstery – the arm, the backrest, the headrest, the seat’s borders… It is the range of components revolving around the seat which emphasises the model’s originality and freedom of use. That’s why these components become the main element in defining LINK's formal and aesthetic appearance, modules that can be adjusted in height to the needs of the user. This characteristic is further reinforced by the versatility of the accessories revolving around the seat; a side-table which, depending on the situation, can be free-standing or become an essential part of the sofa replacing the upholstered support, a magazine stand that can substitute the side border of the seat to become integrated in the product itself.

NETWORK – coffee tables manufacturers

Lightness, modularity, fun, versatility: Network was conceived as an answer to these needs. A natural durmast wood frame supports the perforated plate top which, hit by luminaire rustic beams, takes an airy consistency. The model’s modularity allows to match different items, to play with several colour options and three different heights for a young, cheerful and informal atmosphere. The strength of the material, resistant to any weather condition, gives the possibility to place it also in outside spaces.


OHM – dining chair
Design: Emmanuel Babled
Ohm is a small armchair with a wide and dynamic form: A wrapping frame, where naturally starts the armrests, inviting to seat comfortably. The light shape is marked by the two colors version. Thanks to its character and to the finishing available, leather or home fabrics, Ohm can furnish both domestic and public areas.
