Fap Ceramiche, a well-established ‘made in Italy’ brand involved in the manufacture of ceramic modern wall tiles, on the occasion of the Salone del Mobile 2008, will take part in the second edition of That’s Design design. The event, conceived in collaboration with Domus Academy, Consorzio POLI.design, the Faculty of Design, INDACO Department of the Milan Politecnico and ZOT, will be hosted at the former Ansaldo area at Via Tortona 54-56 and will be characterised by the participation of the most important schools of design in the entire world.

Attention to design, expressed in a myriad of languages, has led Fap Ceramiche to become a major player in this event, with a setting that will garden stage a show of rare beauty consisting of four suites that will tell the history of the bathroom. A place where the emotions of the Fap world can be lived in a unique, exclusive and emotional atmosphere, capable of fully expressing the spirit that has always characterised the company and its collections.

The concept proposed for this occasion calls for the subdivision of the space into areas with astounding scenic effects, that will feature the reinterpretation of some contemporary bathrooms of elegant hotels from around the world – London, Venice, New York, Paris – and will be based on the enhancing of the senses: smell, sight, hearing and touch.
The collections displayed will be available to be “lived” and touched by the visitors who will thus be able to experience their pleasant feel and soft finish. A sophisticated and intimate environment that will float in a warm and seductive atmosphere, where luminaire, merely hinted at, creates an absolutely magical and relaxing setting.
