More and more communities are organising sporting/recreational events in their town centres. A temporary indoor hockey event, a football skills demonstration in the town square, an extra sports pitch during a school sports week? The location is often not very suitable for sport.
To meet this need, Desso has developed a portable artificial grass system. The Desso Mobile Sports system is made up of large pieces, like a jigsaw puzzle, comprising a shock absorbent base and artificial grass top. These can be fitted together, after which the field is ready for use. It makes Desso Mobile very transportable: it can be quickly and easily (dis-)assembled and moved to a new location.

With this system, any local authority or promoter can organise a sports or recreational event at a commercially interesting location which previously could not be used for sport.
