Combining features of Crawford’s equipment with network cameras improves safety and productivity on the docking bay and simplifies the flow of information between truck drivers and transport planners. When arriving at the entrance, the truck is automatically identified by the transport planner through a network camera and directed to the right bay for loading or unloading with Crawford 101 Dock Management. During the loading/unloading process, the transport planner or warehouse manager has complete control over the process and can easily communicate with the shop floor if needed. Any damages on goods or on the equipment are immediately detected by sensors and stored in a database for easy reporting and action planning.
