Ceramiche Keope presents “GREENTHINKING”- ecologic spirit.

Ceramiche Keope, manufacturer of porcelain stoneware wall and floor coverings, presents the unique “GREENTHINKING” project.

This mark is the new symbol of Ceramiche Keope's commitment towards nature.

Today, Ceramiche Keope is one of the companies that pays the greatest attention towards the ecological quality of ceramics and that has therefore adopted the most advanced technological solutions. Thanks to its modern production facilities, in 2004, Ceramiche Keope was the first Italian company to have voluntarily completed the process of control and reduction of its emissions of CO2 and greenhouse gas (Kyoto Protocol).

In September 2005, the company obtained the Ecolabel certification, which currently applies to 23 certified collections and over 350 items. Ceramiche Keope has once again confirmed its commitment to an environment-friendly "mission", by becoming the 1st ceramic industry in the world and the 1st company in Europe to attain, in September 2007, the prestigious UNI ISO 14064 certification for the enforcement of the Kyoto Protocol.

Ceramiche Keope has recently become a member of the Green Building Council Italia (GBC Italia) and of the Green Building Council USA (USGBC), that proposes to introduce the independent LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification system in Italy, the parameters of which establish precise planning criteria for the realisation of health and energy-efficient buildings with a contained environmental impact.

Since the aim of the company is total quality, but also absolute concern for the environment, by means of this logo Ceramiche Keope wishes to offer its customers added value and, by reporting its commitment, gives them the possibility to make reliable choices for eco-compatible products in line with the stringent standards established by the European Community.
