Balcaen - Chair FERRY 1924: the Art Déco style is trendy in 2012-2013!

Contrary to its during armchair, the chair FERRY has a wood completion varnished imitating the amaranth one, carried out according to a model of Jacques-Emile Ruhlmann (1879-1933) going back to 1923-24.
One notes here the flexibility of the lines and the sobriety of the design almost cubist with his file with reason for rolling up in stick in his high part, his mounting before slightly cambered sabre and back with projecting edges, giving place to a stylistic refinement of most appreciable. Functional calculus for an office or around a dining-room table.
