The interior and accessory collection “Paradiso”, designed by Prof. Ernst Fuchs, one of the principal representatives of the Vienna School of Fantastic Realism, represents a unique contemporary design collaboration between traditional Viennese companies, which, in line with the spirit of the Wiener Werkstätte, harmonise craftsmanship with the meta-poetry of Ernst Fuchs.
In the studios of the well-known design companies of the WIEN PRODUCTS group (Backhausen interior textiles, Cabinetmaker and interior designer Friedrich Otto Schmidt, Wiener porcelain manufactury Augarten, Lobmeyr, silver manufactury Jarosinski & Vaugoin, and Art Deco jewellery), craft objects were created following the designs of Ernst Fuchs, which carry the concept of the complete work of art of the Wiener Werkstätte into the new millennium.
The various internationally acting traditional companies guarantee the highest quality craftsmanship as well as an open mind and sensitivity with regard to the artistic implementation of the designs.
The creations of Ernst Fuchs open up a rich world that joins together all the different elements to create a perfectly harmonising and fantastically opulent complete work of art.
