AVC is the reference for innovating staircase-systems in aluminium. After the realisation of a self-supporting set of stairs (Ureka Prize for Best Invention - 1997), new successful systems were developed: Concorde (airplane wing formed modern steps), Triangle (triangular steps on central supports and Starlight (neat staircase with possible insertion of various light systems). All systems are remarkable by their simplicity and their contemporary designer: light, transparent and elegant building staircases as well as very resistant, scratchproof and easy to clean.
The most state-of-the-art concept is the Solitaire: a totally new technology with one single lit wall mounted support with cantilevered treads.
The era of exclusively wooden staircases or furniture is over. Nowadays we search for a combination of natural materials (wood, glass, aluminium) to furnish our homes with a personal touch. Aluminium is a demanded material and is more and more used for staircases.
