Fresh patterns for floor and wall coverings

With its holistic, fresh color concept for the new DLW Vinyl Wetroom Collection, Armstrong has tapped into the latest trends in architecture and interior design. The floor and wall covering system with corresponding border elements is ideal for wet or damp rooms. All of the collection’s colors and patterns are fully coordinated, allowing optimal combination possibilities. Safeguard Spa, an entirely new Armstrong innovation, is a safety floor covering specially intended for wet rooms. It provides enhanced anti-slip safety due to embedded quartz particles and a textured surface. The Waterelite and Protech floor coverings along with Walldesign wall coverings have been overhauled. Walldesign Borders are wall border elements coordinated to complement Walldesign wall coverings.

Due to their seamless surfaces, all Wetroom coverings meet the most demanding requirements of water impermeability and hygiene, both for public facilities and for the home. The principle areas of application for Wetroom collection coverings include bathing areas, shower stalls and toilets in health care, sport, fitness and wellness facilities, schools and hotels. They are even suitable for changing rooms and treatment rooms, and even for corridor walls and operating rooms.

Patterns and colors

In developing the new colors and pattern creations, Armstrong analyzed current trends and worked closely with architects. The resulting fresh colors and pattern structures optimally combine to create harmonious overall effects.

The heterogeneous Walldesign wall coverings are available in seven patterns and 27 colors. Solid-color and small-scale patterns such as Linen and Mini make small rooms appear larger. Graphic, almost floral elements such as in the new Style pattern have a modern feel, and can either make a bold statement in red or black, or emanate restraint in gray or beige. Meanwhile, the Stucco pattern conveys a cool concrete appearance. A new pattern is Elegance, which with its delicate, organically linear embossed structure, playful mother-of-pearl tones and glossy effects, radiates refinement and graceful style. Walldesign coverings are available as meter goods in two-meter width, and have a total thickness of 0.9 mm, including a top wear layer of 0.1 mm.
