The new CLAS HE R regular (open vent) boiler is our very latest addition to the innovative range of CLAS HE High Efficiency condensing boilers. Where a combination boiler or system boiler with unvented cylinder installation is not appropriate, the CLAS HE R will prove to be a valuable option. It will increase the opportunities to enjoy the advanced power and temperature management features and installer benefits of this latest Ariston technological contemporary platform.

This is a good looking and intelligent boiler of compact proportions so is ideal where space is limited and does not need to be hidden away in a cupboard. The CLAS HE R is ideal as a replacement appliance for a traditional open vented type central heater system. Even where a pressurised system is needed, a regular boiler may be preferred, perhaps because it is so very neat. A sealed system kit is available as an accessory and comprises an expansion vessel, pressure gauge, safety valve and filling loop. Whatever the situation, the new CLAS HE R will meet all requirements.

What is more, this is an added value regular boiler. It has all the energy saving performance features of the other CLAS HE modern boilers, accessed via the AUTO Function. This determines the best power output and flow temperature for the heating system by continually monitoring demand. It uses advanced modulating technology to closely track demand and matches output with the highest precision. This ensures that either with or without the addition of further controls the activation of the AUTO Function will enhance boiler performance.

Optimum performance can be achieved by linking into and communicating with the integral controls via an Ariston outdoor weather compensating sensor and indoor modulating room sensors and controls. Ariston offers an extensive choice of wired and wireless temperature controls and accessories.

When using two zones, one high temperature for hot water and one low temperature for central heating, the CLAS HE R will always revert to high temperature if both zones are being called for simultaneously to satisfy the hot water demand. However, when the hot water demand is satisfied, the boiler will revert to low temperature to satisfy the central heating circuit.

If used as a central heating only boiler, the CLAS HE R can operate a low temperature central heating circuit because it can deliver low temperatures whilst still enjoying the benefits of the AUTO Function.

Without the AUTO Function button enabled, the CLAS HE R will work as a normal regular boiler.
