New support for 255 Color
-New color palette of 255 colors, which is fully compatible with other common design solutions.

New Colors Preferences
-New options for configuration of the colors of various components of the work environment: Background colors for the different work modes are fully customizable. The colors of the snap markers, of the grid, of the axis and the origin point can be customized, as well the preferred colors for selection and highlight entities.
New ARC+ Database Format
-New content has been added to the ARC+ file in the second edition of ARC+, which protects it from being read by older versions!
-Perfect compatibility with the database of older versions is available by new import and export file options, offering full control on the colors conversion preferences.
New ARC+ Template and Definitions
-New concept of "Full Template" which includes, in addition to the preferences (layers, styles,) also the preferred colors, multiple print configurations and the geometric data, from the original file.
-New possibility to import the print configurations from one ARC+ file to another: New option to import Walls and End Conditions definitions from external libraries of walls into the new library, which may include now up to 255 colors.
New User Preferences
-New User Preferences for the configuration of the mouse in two work modes: Dynamic Snap ON and OFF, with a possibility to use either the first or the second button of the mouse for Snap.
-New options for Polar Constraints, in addition to the orthogonal mode, with possibility to use predefined angles which are multiple of 5°, 45°, 90°, Horizontal, Vertical and to add user defined angles.
-New optional work mode with Step Constraint, limiting the length of the rubber line, in a given direction, to a full number of increments, corresponding to the current Step defined by the user.

New Dynamic Snap
-New "OSnap" toolbar, integrated in the work environment of ARC+, offers a direct access to all the snap options, filters and constraints.
-New options to visualize graphic Markers, which highlight the nearest Snap Point, the Snap Aperture Box, and possibility to preview the coordinates of the Snap Points.
-New User Preferences for defining the appearance of the graphical symbols of the snap, such as Axis in the active working plane, Snap size zone, show or hide Markers, color of the Marker, Cursor type.
-Extended options for defining the Snap Filter for the different ARC+ entities.
-New Magnetize mode attaches the cursor to the nearest entity to snap.
-Full support of all Dynamic Snap options in all work modes and both in 2D and 3D.
New Points Input
-New option to define a point by keyboard input with "DS [number of steps]", to locate on the current rubber line direction a distance which is a multiple of the current Step value.
New support for Images
-New Images toolbar with multiple options for inserting and editing images.
-Full support of all commonly known raster formats, for inserting in the ARC+ drawing; including: Photoshop, Mac, Postscript… - about 44 file formats.
-New integration of embedded images in the ARC+ model, from external files and directly from the scanner.
-Multiple functions for manipulating and editing images, with different filter possibilities; e.g. Resize, Rotate, Auto Trim, Contrast, Brightness… and option to restore the original image.
-New Power Clip of image by polygon, defining the area to cut away from the full image and which will remain transparent.
-Possibility to manage inserted images interactively by a new Raster Manager
-New support of Alpha Channel for embedded Images.
New Print Options and Preview
-A new Print Manager integrates all the options of printing and plotting, with the possibility to print to a printer file.
-Possibility to define multiple modes for printing the colors of different types of entities in: Color, Grayscale and Black.
-New options to define different output for each of the colors in the palette, in addition to the possibility to ignore some colors.
-Full control of the line weights for all the 255 colors and definition of the line types resolution.
-Full visual control of the print parameters with possibility to save and load the settings and to define multiple configurations for each ARC+ file.
-Multiple print configurations are saved in the ARC+ file and can be imported from one file to another.
-New Print Preview enabling to control the position, size and appearance of the drawing on the output device, before printing.
