AMV STEELWORKS streamlines the workflow to design metallic carpentry with SolidWorks. Totally and perfectly embedded in SolidWorks, AMV STEELWORKS has been conceived according to the latest criteria of Building Information Modelling (B.I.M.). In this way the user can create, manage and share through the network the information concerning all the stages of the building process, including general arrangement, detailed or fabrication drawings, bill of materials and NC files. It includes a SQL database that allows for an advanced and organic management of the contracts.
The 3D system is largely used in AMV STEELWORKS, due to its
immediacy and its profitable potentials.

The designer can add a parametric and associative behaviour to his models and than the same ones could be easily modified to fit the new layout requests.
